Temperament: affectionate, friendly, loving, fearless
Coat and Grooming: cavaliers have a double coat and will require a light groom weekly to maintain the classic cavalier look
Cavaliers have four distinctive coat colours:
Black & Tan: raven black with tan markings above the eyes, on cheeks, inside ears, on chest and legs and underside of tail.
Ruby: whole body a rich chestnut red.
Blenheim: rich chestnut markings broken up, on pearly white ground. Some will have the ‘queens kiss’ mark or spot on the top of their head between their ears (a unique characteristic of the breed).
Tricolour: black and white broken across the body, with tan markings over eyes, cheeks, inside ears, inside legs, and on underside of tail.
Appearance: expressive eyes, long ears and classic 'grinch' feet
F1 Cavapoo
A first generation cross-breed, 50/50 cavalier and toy poodle
Size: 8-11 kg however this can vary
Life span: 12+ years
Temperament: affectionate, friendly, gentle and eager to please
Coat & Grooming: while low shedding this does not mean they are hypoallergenic, they will require grooming to prevent matting ... variety of colours
Appearance: expressive eyes, long ears and their coats range from a wavy to curls
F1b Cavapoo - 25 poodle /75 Cavalier
F1 cavapoo backcrossed to a cavalier
Size: 8-11 kg however this can vary
Life span: 12+ years
Temperament: affectionate, friendly, gentle
Coat & Grooming: while low shedding this does not mean they are hypoallergenic, they will require grooming to prevent matting ... variety of colours
Appearance: expressive eyes, long ears, they will take on a variety of genetics from the parent breeds

A F1 cavapoo backcrossed toy or miniature poodle
Size: 8-11 kg however this can vary

Temperament: intelligent, affectionate, active
Coat & Grooming: non-shedding hair, however they will require regular grooming to prevent matting ... variety of colours
Appearance: more poodle-like features, such as longer legs, tighter curls, and a distinct muzzle.
